The BBC show I watched made it very clear, Euros still love the US, but they cannot trust Bushies at all. Once Bushies are out of power we'll get our allies back. Also, the fact is Bushies started it. Bush's first trip to Europe after he was "elected" was arrogant, negative, my way or the highway. He had two priorities, SDI and not cooperating with anti-pollution treaties. He said nothing about terrorism. Meanwhile Al Qaida was moving into position.
