Too contrived, doesn't really lay a glove on Dean, imo.

For one thing, anytime there are long explanations for a simple position, you end up talking to the political junkies, not the public.

That's because complex accusations like this by their nature call for detailed responses, which in Dean's case would be details and level of information, at each decision point.

Oliphant's usually good, but Dean has been so clearly opposed for so long it's difficult to believe the case. Seeing Dean in debates and speeches it's hard to imagine him being the among the the rest of the unquestioning jellyfish who now sputter complicated denials.

Unlike the other candidates, Dean appears like he's got the cojones to stand up to the neocon-hijackers gov't in Washington.
