CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - Democratic front-runner Howard Dean's lead over rival John Kerry increased to 21 percentage points in the latest poll of likely voters in the New Hampshire primary.

Dean, the former Vermont governor, remained at 38 percent in the American Research Group poll, but Kerry's support dropped 7 percentage points to 17 percent. The two New Englanders - Kerry is Massachusetts' junior senator - are in a must-win battle in the Granite State.

Wesley Clark moved from 4 percent two weeks earlier to 7 percent, which was within the poll's margin of error of plus or minus four percentage points.

Among the remaining candidates, Joe Lieberman was at 5 percent; John Edwards and Dick Gephardt at 4 percent; Dennis Kucinich at 3 percent and Carol Moseley Braun at 1 percent. Al Sharpton had less than 1 percent. Twenty-one percent were undecided, unchanged from two weeks earlier.

The poll of 600 likely voters was conducted Monday through Thursday.

The primary is Jan. 27.
