DEAN, a moderate for bubba!

AS,

You are living in a fantasy world. Dean is nothing like Nader. Nader appealed to the naive Left who left their brains at the door when the went to the polls in November, 2000. Clearly the 95,000 voters who pulled a lever for Nader in Florida were idiots, however principled.

Like you, I railed against the Nader campaign as being potentially a godsend for Bush.

But I cannot agree with you whatsoever about Dean's candidacy. He's been a thorn in the side of liberals in Vermont. He's got better "cred" with the NRA than George Bush. Your constant painting of Dean as a naive leftist is so far off the mark that you ought to be ashamed of yourself for being so untruthful. On fiscal matters, it appears that Dean is a conservative. Unlike Gephardt who is a disaster at reading a financial statement. As far as the environment is concerned, Kerry has a record that is much more in tune with the liberal orthodoxy than is Dean's record. Dean was a friend of the developers in Vermont. To the extent that he irked a lot of the environmental crowd. So, painting Dean as a whacko leftist is your own private fantasy and delusion. Get some education, my friend. Otherwise you will simply be noted here on SI as an uninformed rube, a one-trick-pony and someone not to be trusted to tell the truth. OK? TIA :)
