Thanks Louis. Manufacturer is willing to ship new harddrive since my computer is under warranty (about 6 months old) but, I need to return the old one. I do have original reinstall CD that came with the computer. If I understand correctly, just install the new hardware, use reinstall CD, install xp pro, office, IE, then internet CD, go to internet appy all xp pro patch, etc. How long and how difficult it is? Am I understanding it correctly? Regards.
