I don't think you understood my comment, which was re use of "this process [towards democratization]" and "Muslim countries in which the pressure for such pluralism is emerging" when talking about Turkey.

This has nothing to do with "stability". It has to do with the fact that Turkey has been a secular democracy since its foundation in 1923, where women got the right to vote in 1930, way before their peers in some of the champions of democracy we know and love. Saying Turkey in a "process" towards democratization, where "pressure for such pluralism is emerging" is just not correct and reflects the inclination to broadbrush countries with Muslim majorities.
