I just read the proposed settlement, and figured I could get up to $3400 for the 500 shares I purchased during that period. In reality, it will probably be a fraction of that, but you can be sure that the lawyers will see their $100 Million (Yes, they will get over $100 Million)! The real losers will Lucent's current shareholders. The winners will be the attorney's. The shareholders who lost money will see very little, if anything when all is said & done. So it goes.
