A while back someone posted about job migration away from US to India/China. Heres an experience I had about 30 minutes ago :

Just a few minutes ago, I got a call from Citibank
(with who I have a credit card account), reminding me
that I was overdue on the monthly payment, and if I
paid a couple hundred bucks, I would not have to pay
anything till Feb next year.

So I said, yeah, sure I can pay a couple hundred bucks
on the phone - lets settle it.

The interesting part was, that apart from pronouncing
my first and last name in a perfect South Indian
accent, (I am of South Indian Origin), this person had a perfect US mid-atlantic accent for the rest of the conversation.

Towards the end of the call, I asked him "where are
you calling from ?". He said "from Citibank, sir". I
said "no I meant city, state and country". He said "I
can not give you that info". I said "Let me take a
guess - you are calling from Bangalore, India". He laughed and said "Sir, thats a very well educated guess, but you know I can not confirm". And then he laughed again before we said goodbye.
