Lieberman is Bush Lite. Why would anybody vote for him? Republicans obviously don't need a Bush Lite. Democrats wouldn't vote for a Bush Lite. And independents who want a change are looking for an alternative to Bush, not a substitute, and they wouldn't vote for him either.
