You have no idea about heroism or the military award system. Very often acts of heroism start out as foolish and dangerous leadership failures often by the same person who in an effort to correct their improper judgement does something above and beyond.

There are a lot of "average Joes" who have done greater heroic acts than either of your so call HEROS and don't even want to talk about it.

Based on some Bush's questionable actions, if he was in charge of a platoon he might be just as much a hero based on his often questionable judgement.

You just don't have a clue!
