does paragon software needs space or it works off CD drive? If you get Paragon Drive Backup on a CD then Paragon Drive Backup comes with its own runtime environment and will not use any space on your backup hard drive. But to run Paragon Drive Backup from a CD you will need to select the boot from CD option in your BIOS during bootup. Can I boot off the new drive through USB connection and do my work normally while waiting for the new hard drive to come and get installed? You will need to either read the manual for your motherboard's BIOS, examine your motherboards BIOS during bootup or call the company you bought your computer from for an answer to this question. ,
