How's your Russian? :)

True, Paragon doesn't have phone support. The author is Russian. I think maybe he moved to Germany. Or his company is based there now.

But he knows English well enough to answer quite detailed technical questions by email. How often do you deal with the author of high-quality software directly nowadays?

Any of these products will probably do the job for you. I had a bad experience with Drive Image (how about 8 hours to do a sector-by-sector copy that Paragon takes 10 minutes to do?), and Paragon worked out much better for me.

But it is more suitable for somebody with some degree of geektitude. :)

I think the important thing here is working out a procedure for regular duplication of your hard drive, using any of the many products available on the market. I guarantee that once you try it, you will never go back to any other backup method.

BTW, don't get too fancy with your disk setup. Don't use Dynamic Disks. Don't do mirror sets, stripe sets, etc. I haven't found a program yet that can successfully duplicate these.

Stick to Basic disks (NTFS is fine, multiple partitions are fine) and you should have no problem.
