I would not presume the sons do not want to serve in the military just because the daddies are well connected bozos.

I did not mean just the sons of the ones you mentioned. It is just too much hassle for the return on it. I think you have a vision of reforming kids through Universal Service. "By God, I served, why don't they?" Won't work, IMO.

And don't forget that under the present PC, we would be forced to draft just as many women. Don't wish that on DOD. We need to get women out of combat, not more into it.
