LindyBill, that is what you say, that is what Bush says, that is what the minority of the folks and the most loud of them all are saying. That is not what is out on the street. Even folks who would not normally be interested in politics are saying that Bush is fighting a lonely fight, totally alienated from the rest of the world. Even Spain has pulled out.

So Bush can say he does not want to get out of Iraq. Even people like you may say so. But the US says something else. And that is my point. After having alienated himself from the world community, he is headed towards alienation from the common American person; the soccer moms, spouses of military personnel etc. FOX news had a soccer mom discussing yesterday's debate of the Democratic candidates. Not sure if you watched that. The point is that they do not view the war in Iraq as a war against terrorism. And the more the terrorist bombings increase, the more the American troops die, the more it will become evident that the Iraqi war is a misplaced war or a war with other motives.
