But the US says something else. And that is my point. After having alienated himself from the world community, he is headed towards alienation from the common American person;

The polls say you are wrong, SC. Half the people in this country say we are on the right track. And roughly 56% say they would vote for Bush if the election was held now. That is a landslide by National standards.

At this point in Clinton's first term, about 35% said they would vote for him. Bush is in a commanding situation. Could he lose? Of course! But you would need your wishes to be horses in order to ride a Dem candidate to victory at the moment.
