What was wrong with letting him hold off. There were inspectors on the ground. We could have maintained a pissing match for years. He had no WMD, and no way of getting any, idiot. And even if he did, he wouldn't have used them. All he wanted was to be a big shot in his neck of the woods. And we would have let him, as long as he was our big shot. Remember, he gassed his own people in the early 90s, and we didn't do anything about it then. What was the big rush now? Tell me that.
