First, I never reviled the man, I disagreed with him. Second, it is legitimate to show how universal the opinion was that Saddam had WMDs, reviled or not. If you expect intelligence to be one hundred percent perfect, than you should grow up. We had to resolve the situation with Iraq, and it was the easiest to resolve. We have been containing Iraq for a long time, and due to Saddams diversion of oil revenue, the sanctions were killing hundreds of thousands of children, indirectly. The will to continue containment might easily have faltered, and the situation with the children was decreasingly tolerable..........
