Lizzie,

Bush had a remarkably upbeat day today. The Medicare "victory", the strong (though suspect) economic numbers, the recent subsidence in U.S. casualties in Iraq are all working in Bush's favor. He couldn't have hit this trifecta with better timing. He'll get kudos around Thanksgiving Day tables across the nation. I can't wait for the gushy announcements of Bush's success tomorrow. <gg>
9/11 investigations will be swept under the carpet, as will any actual analysis of what the Medicare bill really means for America and Iraq will be morph into a benign turkey.
