Hi BrokerG,

If you would have told me that we'd be getting as many rosie confirmations of IT growth (albeit slow vs robust)and the stock price would be below 12 - I'd tell you you're crazy.

I think this is a long term excellent play for Oracle. They have the money and they have the time.In between I think accumulation is going on.

I'm still playing this long term laggard play by selling puts and hoping for below market price accumulation of the stock. So far I've sold December 12.50 puts @ 1.05 and 1.10 - could have done much better here. I've also sold March 12.50 puts at 1.50 (more like it).

Buying Orcl @ 11.00 to 11.40 has so far been a very easy hold.

If Orcl drops the offer I'd expect a pop up.If they continue this long term good acquisition - I'll accumulate more stock or keep the money.

I think Orcl must move its business model to maintenance of their data base business and make inroads to the medium to small size firms thus the Peoplesoft/J.D. Edwards acquisition.

This all makes sense and takes time - something most investors dislike. That's why it will be a good thing - but take time.

JMHO
