Actually I think we are in need of a new party that have folks like McCain and Lieberman at the helm-- I think you guys are "whistling Dixie" on the "New Party" concept. We seem to be headed toward a very strong Republican party and the Dems out of the picture on a National basis. The coming split is in the social conservative/Libertarian part of the Republicans. The Dems are just ending up as the hard left. The new alignment will be the "Eagle" Republicans voting with the Dems on social issues.
