Let's keep things in context.
Based on what I'd seen to date- primarily trading activity and potential, a "great buy" was posted
But with some reservations about what forthcoming earnings had in store. That cautionary comment was on target.
Reading further into their numbers released after the close 1 week later, they did indeed end up burning up a ridiculous amount of cash on what was likely frivolous perks.
If you knew the scant amount of time and DD I'm able to commit to stocks currently vs. what I had done a few years ago as well as the crude system I use, you'd probably better appreciate the performance of this thread.
I try to keep my posts and comments as clear, complete, and intelligible as I can, but not always able to due to time constraints. Often making quick calls or submitting posts as a customer is entering store or as I'm answering phone
Did not continue to support at 4.32 as you stated. Again, you're twisting the truth 180 degrees.
First posted at 11:04 while trying to offer some quick honest feedback, and then followed up 10 minutes later expounding further so my post wasn't misconstrued. Longer term, it's fine- but short term, better places to put money.
It's always tough to change course, particularly when I've been such a public ardent supporter of OPTV. As far as "accountability and honesty are important", I don't think you'll find any clearer example.

OPTV dropped 20% plus shortly after these posts.

OPTV - 4.45 ask - still a buy despite news
My read of earnings was they burnt a lot of cash in the qtr, considering the 38 mil through IATV acquisition.
I think it was around 25 million missing.
And depending on how revenues are acctd, some or all of that may be gone.
Maybe I'm not reading something properly.
Direct TV news not good. They are unable to negotiate on terms favorable to all?

OPTV - clarification 4.42 ask
A buy for longer term, as without positive news, there are likely better places to invest short term
I don't see significant immediate upside without news

OPTV is a great buy under 5 and a short and long term hold.
If not yet showing, which they may not based on "cash burn" statement in latest news, earnings should only get better from here.
They sold their educational unit, so all hi margin ad driven now.
