Could the price of lumber dampen the home market? Lumber, at least locally, has gone thru the roof. Strand board that was $8 a sheet earlier this year is now $22. Framing lumber up, etc.. etc.. I figured the garage I built over the summer would have cost me 30-40% more had I waited till now. (Of course I'd be freezing my ass off too) On another note.. there's a town north of where I live that no longer will prosecute drunk drivers. They don't have the money for the adminstrative costs involved. Amazing. Rumor had it a lot of the Vikings players were going to pary there <g>
