"So we really need to take a hard look at pre-emptive strikes." One need only look at the motivation for the pre-emptive strikes and put them in the context of all other actions we take in the world. If the US were seeking to gain territory you and the rest of the misguided might be on firmer ground. It has been said that all that is required for evil to flourish is for good men to do nothing. I view the actions by the leaders of our country in Afghanistan and Iraq, to be actions to stop the spread of evil. I also view the tone and tenor of most of the anti Bush anti war crowd to be unhelpful at best and seditious at worst.
