I'd say it is a 100% chance that most retailors are lagging on the holiday sales for the month of November. Late Thanksgivings tend to have that effect. They will only have 3 days of selling until the calendar turns to December. That is going to screw with their comps. Which might give up some kneejerk buying opportunities.

I talked to some of my corporate buddies at the major mall anchor, upscale department store chain called Belk. They are behind last year across most all stores, but expect to catch up. (Not a publicly traded company.)
