CNBC Shakes Up Schedule for Miller

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Cable channel CNBC is making wholesale changes to its schedule to make room for its new Dennis Miller (news) program next year.

The Miller show will air at 9 p.m., where "Special Report with Maria Bartiromo" airs Mondays, and "Capital Report" the rest of the work week. Sources expect the network to move those shows to 7 p.m. and launch a new program at 8 p.m.

Starting Dec. 8, it will move "Kudlow & Cramer" from 8 p.m. to 5 p.m., the slot currently held by its franchise business news program "Business Center," which is being canceled.

"Business Center" co-host Ron Insana will anchor the new show "Street Signs" at 2 p.m., bumping Tyler Mathison's "Open Exchange." Sue Herera, Insana's partner, will join Bill Griffeth on "Power Lunch" from noon-2 p.m.

CNBC previously said that it will start a new program at 6 p.m., "Bullseye," which delves into how events affect people's pocketbooks.
