I'll throw you a bone for Thanksgiving because I'm in a holiday mood. As I mentioned, there is a company that is using some SDI microwave technologies to treat cancer. The company is Celsion Corporation (AMEX:CLN) and they will be presenting during the American Stock Exchange investor conference next week. You can listen to the presentation here:

The technology portfolio is amazing. The breast cancer trials that focus heat only on the tumors and jam the microwaves where the healthy tissue is is right out of the Star Wars program. CLN is also developing heat sensitive liposomes that deliver chemotherapy only to the tumor in doses 30-50X compared to traditional systemic delivery. Next-generation Benign Prostate Hypertrophy (BPH) treatment is ready for final FDA approval, the National Institute of Health is getting ready to use liposomes for liver cancer trials, and prostate cancer trials using heat and liposomes underway. IMO CLN is a promising biotechnology star moving forward. Boston Scientific teamed up with them to market the BPH treatment.
