While I do agree with some of what the article says, I'm not sure how it could be seen to respond to my post.

It is still simply wrong to blame all muslims for the acts of a fanatical minority.

One thing that is very unfortunate is how the "them or us" attitudes of the Bush Administration have served to increase the numbers of radical Islamists. This only serves to reinforce the feeling throughout the Islamic world that the U.S. is engaged in a war on Islam, which in turn makes Americans less secure.

PS: There are a lot of people who are Christian by tradition, haven't read the Bible, and don't really know much about Christ's teachings. There are also a lot of people who use their interpretations of Christian doctrine to justify their political agendas.
