Hi Peter.....Just in case.....Cheers: <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Aug. 11, Scott Robinson V.MOA Mountain Lake Resources
Guru, all of my previous posts to your site concerning MOA have basically just updated your readers on information that I obtain from my research on the Company or from the IR firm (more of my own research) or I simply post a recent news release. I usually stay away from rumours, however I am well aware this is what drives the junior markets, or at least to some extent. Well I am now going to pass along some information that I have obtained from my source in New Brunswick who has done some checking for me on the Maliseet property. As you are aware Northeast Exploration Services has started drilling phase one of an approx.1500m. drill program targeted at nickel, copper and cobalt mineralization. My source indicates the second hole drilled has located over 30' of Massive Sulfide Mineralization. This is very encouraging but obviously we will have to wait until the drill program is completed and the assays are released in order to verify these early findings. In the interim I thought I would pass this along. Regards.
RESPONSE: Thanks Scott. We have heard the same. We hear MOA may have found high base metal values, mainly zinc and silver so far, and drilling continues. Also, we hear additional land is being acquired before the news is released, which is expected this week. MOA has had good results at their CK gold project but the market yawned. At least MOA's share price and volume is starting to show some early confirmation of a significant discovery this time. Noranda has just started drilling their jointly owned gold and base metal property in Ontario, in the Ben Nevis township, and Ashton continues to drill their JV diamond properties in South Africa. CK should have some follow-up drilling as well. For now MOA will probably be mainly focused on Maliseet if a new discovery is confirmed. If MOA has a significant discovery at Maliseet in New Brunswick, one of the advantages is that MOA owns 100% of it. Zinc alone would probably represent $100+ per ton rock, which alone could be economical if significant quantities are found. Zinc demand and prices have risen this year, from around .35 to .75 a pound. It would be a bonus if they actually found nickel-copper-cobalt as well, which was their initial quest. In no way could anyone at this stage compare an initial discovery at Maliseet to Diamond Fields in Voisey's Bay, except that it is interesting that DFR was looking for diamonds when they hit nickel-copper-cobalt and MOA was looking for this and may have found a zinc deposit. |
