vt: do you have the corresponding info on how gold stocks performed over that period, relative the dow and POG? i'd really like to see this kind of historical comparison - shares/metals/indexes - mapped down to the individual level: anyone know a free web-based source for this kind of historic info that would include individual company trajectories? i'm particularly thinking of ways to define and analyse the following type of scenario: POG up, DJIA down, major gold shares down with DJIA (liquidity based problem), some junior golds survive and prosper (which and why?)
