I don't know. I was hoping for some free prozac, but my complaints fall on deaf ears. I thought maybe raising the issue might help compensate for a lack of awareness in the general population. America isn't ready to know they are actually inside OZ. I think my rants just wasted space on this thread. I've decided this whole world of trade and sanctions is very complicated. And the 'entrenched interests' may run very deep. I knew going in, the story of the bug and the windshield. I will press on. I think understanding the embedded motivations and distortions may help me see a bit more clearly. It won't be my first priority. I don't think elections & the elected are likely to resolve it. There are many more serious problems to cope with first, some of which might have root causes which ultimately trace back to these very distortions. I imagine the historians will note that, long after I'm gone.
