Ya know, I was thinking a bit last night, that there might be an answer to your question. You and I, and maybe a few others, well, we could move to a country not as rich as the US, one without deeply embedded protectionism.

And even with our limited means, we could manage a comfortable existence. Beyond that, we could use our knowledge of the world, the ways of the world, and business, to assist the locals in creating their own products to compete in global markets.

I know there are others already doing this, but I doubt all of the countries and all of the villages of the world have helpers.

And the life story we might write, in doing this, is that of a person who took a slightly different path. A person not always understood, but a person respected and appreciated.

That seems a better choice, than scrapping about here for a few more gold coins, in hopes they might somehow keep us safe in an uncertain future. BWDIK?

Happy Turkey Day all.
