Clark is attacking Dean now for being a draft dodger. He's not going to be his running mate. Those two are at opposite ends. Clark entered the race to checkmate Dean. Deanies are so naive. You don't seem to understand what's really happening behind the scenes. It hasn't been in the press much yet but some 75% of the Dem party is against Dean getting the nomination. Proof of this is that dean doesn't have a single mainstream Dem endorsement. It's pragmatic centrists who CAN beat Bush with the right ticket versus idealistic anti-war liberals who have Deanitis and either don't remember Dukakis, McGovern and Mondale or don't want to. Anti-war grass roots liberals can't win in November. Period. A Bush landslide would be almost guaranteed.
