Bush's visit to the troops today is commendable. Bushie political operatives are brilliant. They didn't have Bush wearing a uniform or posing this time.

This is the new Bush, not a phony, they are saying to us. We should all be behind him because he "is" the troops, they are saying. And who wants to demean the troops?

Bush's #1 issue will be his pro-military, strong leadership on anti-terror and US freedom and morality. He gets highest marks on those issues. Even though it's partly a scam, it's a scam that works on swing-voters.

Unless a truly credible candidate on military and foreign affairs can expose than, Bush will be re-elected unless the economy collapses again.

They've rigged the economy to be flooded with cash through next year so that inflation and debt-burden doesn't hit hard until 2005. In light of all this, Dean has no real issues. He can talk about balancing the budget but that has zero image power. He can talk about the war was wrong but he had no other plan. He can be the outside3r, but outsiders never win. They'd Dukakisize him and make him look irrelevant to 60% of voters within weeks.

But don't worry, Buish can be beaten because Dean isn't going to be nominated. He will howwver get as much as 30% of the Dem party behind him, maximum. He has 16% now.
