Waterville Area Bridges for Peace and Justice will hand out informational leaflets beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Wal-Mart store on Kennedy Memorial Drive, according to organizers. "Members will wear sandwich boards and hand out leaflets until Wal-Mart sends someone out to ask the social justice group to leave," organizer Peter Sirois said. "At being invited to leave, the group will move on to Elm Plaza and continue leafleting in the common parking area.<<< Hardly the stuff of revolutionaries. In fact, one wonders whether Wal-Mart didn't organize the "protest" itself as some kind of promotion.
