I think my rants just wasted space on this thread. Don't be discouraged. :) I found you contribution to be excellent and well researched. The fact that you weren't able to put all the pieces together into a dynamite speculative scheme is more indicative of the disjointed and schizophrenic nature of the current investment climate than of any deficit in your analysis. I, for one, thought that you raised the standard of discourse quite admirably for a short while. :) OTOH, I'm now noted as a one-note trumpet, a one-trick pony. Until the totalitarian-in-the-making in the White House is removed with prejudice, the investment climate in America will be poisoned with secrecy, insider trading and schemes that the public will be expected to be the designated suckers in. There's hardly a reason to attempt financial analysis in such a climate where deceit, chicanery and self-dealing fraud are the expected norm among the key players.
