That's perfect. Howard Dean is perfectly comfortable with the cover-up. And POW/MIA wink-and-nod.

This makes Dean about as transparent as Clinton was about activities at the Mena Airport.

Thus, American Spirit's shrill denunciation of Dean as a Leftist is completely off base. Dean is a part of the same Skull & Bones, good-old-boy network that Clinton, the Bushes, Kerry and the Kennedys are a part of.

Dean's a mainstream politician polishing an image as an "outsider" for the sake of the "democratic wing of the Democratic Party" during the primary season. He's perfectly capable of painting himself as a sane and sensible moderate when the time comes. Because that is exactly what his record shows him to be.
