In Techwire news this morning: Compaq is is setting up a worldwide extranet code named MANSION which links to Compaq's intranet.
These linked apps are running on SAP R/3, and include applications that "adjust mfg plans and schedules at company plants....worldwide."

Anybody have more details on this?
