Btw, I also think it was a nice gesture to visit the troops. But to believe that it was not also politically motived is pretty naive, IMHO.

Of course it was politically motivated. It was a political statement to the troops, the American people and, importantly, the Iraqi people. Absolutely brilliant move.

Plus, it's driving the Bush-haters nuts, which is an entertainment bonus for us. Ray-man, for example, is so beside himself with anger, he's about to have two strokes. ;-)
