day after Thanksgiving update

received a nice phone call from Scoot this morning asking how things were going down in Texas for me

here is a quickie report

Mar has no adverse reaction to the two stents installed seven weeks ago
she has recovered nicely from the broken RIGHT foot, but fell last evening and has now injured the left one

I'm assuming that she liked so verrrrrrry much being waited on by ME that she has taken another opportunity to avail herself of my services <gggggg>

daughter Anne has recovered from her giving birth to Tavi (new grandaughter 13wks old), her subsequent gall bladder surgery five weeks later, and a severe bout of the flu the past three weeks ... her husband had the same virus malady, so I kidnapped Tavi from their abode for two weeks at the onset of their symptoms and brought her to my house

grandaughter Tavi had blood incompatibality with taking breast milk from Anne, so no breast feeding (thank heavens as I'm ill equipped), but has had fairly severe breathing difficulties since the exposure to her parents flu the days before her kidnapping by me
that
and, she has inherited projective vomiting from her mom
so
the past two weeks have been spent with Tavi in an upright position and mostly being rocked (in a glider I purchased) for twenty four hours per day
poor kid can't breathe and has no clue why she feels rotten.....
MY shift is/was 1am to 4pm seven days per week for the little over two weeks ... I'd go to bed to sleep my four hours and back on my triple shift <trying to make up for these many years of retirement> lol

the congested breathing has lead to an ear infection (any who've had children can relate to THAT) but, as she was too young for antibiotices until she reached three months .. grandad was the best comfort she could obtain, sadly

Anne's inlaws arrived for the holiday Tues and will be leaving tomorrow, so I've had a slight break ....

most all construction has been on the back burner, as well as online .... hey .. I've been doing the best I could to read the Dallas News during the day half a page at at time ... gggggggg

oh yeah .. Mar got the flu too at a bit after the two new parents, but so far, I'm fit as a fiddle and still full of pi$$ and vinegar .. hehehehehe

have missed being online, but thought I'd give a looksee here and post

Happy Thanksgiving weekend to all the Zers
and I can testify that I'm the most grateful one here ...
have such a great deal of blessing for which I do give thanks to a kind and merciful God
and wish Peace to all my cyber buddies

tt

ps
this grandkid is SO great whilst being quite ill that when she gets well she will be PERFECT

pps
I'm gonna be the full time nanny after this holiday weekend when Anne and Mar go back to work and John (her dad) is now a full time student working toward a BBA at the end of this summer

so, I might not be online too much for a while .... LOL
