Look at what the budget deficits are doing to the dollar. The dollar is in a long bear-market. That is gonna cause tremendous inflation in the coming years. The stock-market is gonna tank. My best case scenario is an S&P of 600, and that would be after inflation; so if you are in now, your loss at that point would be 40% in nominal terms, but close to 60% in real terms.
