One flaw in your argument. The Fed can only inflate as long as the bond vigilantes remain in hibernation. Once bond yields take off -- a severe recession is only a matter of time. Hence my belief that the boys will move heaven and earth to keep bond yields down, but when they lose control (which looks very close now) they will have to tighten much as they might hate to do it.
