"How to land soft" brought up 763 web pages. Link # 561 advised to land in water or a hay-stack. So he aimed for some floating bales and got lucky. His speed carried him through 4 bales and then into the water more tham 73 feet. He almost died holding his breath on the way up. But he didn't because he was (and IS) a super-hero. When he broke the surface he was smoking a cigarette and had already washed his arm-pits with "LUX".
