you might be right about bond vigilantes but if the Fed and foreign Central Banks load up and actively vigorously monetize USTNotes and USTBonds, then we will have market interference which will mask the true inflationary erosion expectations look what the Bank of Japan has done with monetization over $100 billion in printing press purchases of USTrez paper it is criminal and very disruptive to market equilibrium it remains to be seen how effective coordinated CB actions will be to forestall the rise in long rates / jim
