False. Bush inherited no surplus. At best he inherited a bunch of twisted projections that ultimately had little meaning. Even when those projections were first released many people claimed they were but the result of smoke and mirrors. And a $500 budget deficit is nothing. Perhaps we are now to think you are a leftist liar because you misspoke. The evidence in support of such a thing is every bit as clear against you as it is against Bush (grin).
