CNN: Bushies want radioactive waste in your landfill. Believe it or not, the Cheney types are pressing the EPA to recommend that lower level (but still dangerous) radioactive waste is disposed in ordinary landfills. GOP moderates are already standing up to this. But that's what you get when you elect the pollution/energy lobby president. CNN also reports since Bush took power, Super Fund hasn't cleaned up a damn thing and the clean-ups which are beginning are being chargd to tax-payers, not to the polluters.
