It's already Newtainment. There is no news on regular TV- you have to tune in PBS to get any real news. Any other stations will merely give you murder-o-rama. Don't get me wrong, I feel for murder victims, but grisly crimes really aren't news- they are the stuff of scandal mags. Crime statistics and trends might be news, but you won't see that on the networks- because facts and figures are BORING- just give them the salacious details.
