There was a General Thomas Powers in the Air Force. Curtis LeMay was very worried that he was unstable and would start a war with the Soviets.... I'm sure Rumsfield would like to see US world domination, but he's not tied to the rest of the neocon agenda, which involves Israel and who knows what else.
