And there certainly are PLENTY of people in Iraq who want the US to leave.

Just as there are many Iraqis who want the US to remain in country.

The primary opposition to the US lie in the Sunni regions. They had the most to gain by Saddam's rule, and now they have the most to lose.

So yeah.. we could see a civil war of sorts, but the Sunnis are definitely at a disadvantage against the other, more populous, segments of Iraqi society.
