My wife and I have owned XON so long, I'm not sure how much we're up. She used to work there, so doesn't like me to sell them! I've tried to explain to her that emotion and sentiment don't work too well in the stock market, but for marital bliss, I always own XON or have funds to jump back in and buy if they look like they're heading north. Actually, I've been in amd out a few times, trying to make a couple of extra dollars on the short term swings. I've been getting it right about 2/3 of the time. I have a sell in at 66 and a buy at 60. Off Topic, I recently bought T as a THE dog of the dow for 34 3/8, I sold at 42 three weeks later, for a 20+ % profit. I'm ready to jump back in if T dips to 40. It's been to down 40 1/2 today already.
