A very extensive poll was just taken in Iraq by a magazine editor. I watch the interview on fox. wish i could remember the name of the mag so you could review the data.

He states he spent four months doing a detail poll with Iraq people. He found they do not support this fight against Americans. It is those who were in power paying hired help to blown up the convoys , police stations. The others are Iranians, etc coming into their country. He stated the Iraq's have no love for Iranians..

He does not know if we are winning but this war is no viet nam.. In viet nam the people supported the gorillas. Here they do not support them. He talked to various groups and they all want the bombing to end. They feel they can all come together and bring a new freedom to Iraq.
Oh, this writer just publish a book on his experience as an imbedded reporter during the invasion. "Boots on the ground" is the title. He also went on to say how ridiculous it is for nyt, lat, or other papers to say the imbedded reporters were in the pockets of the military.. There were over 5000 imbedded reporters, surely you would have gotten many articles to support these claims if true. This didn't happen.
